EMC silencers Series A

Silencers are necessary elements for eliminating or reducing noise during the exhaust of compressed air. They should always be installed on the exhaust ports of 3/2, 5/2 or 5/3 lin./pos. distributors. Periodically during operation, the silencers must be degreased with white spirit and compressed air must be blown through them in the opposite direction. The nominal flow rate is determined at an inlet pressure of 6 bar and an outlet to the atmosphere. To determine the noise level, a test is carried out using a sound level meter. The sound level meter is located at a distance of 1 meter from the object and at the same height. The measurement period is 10 s. This test gives the average value of the noise generated.
